Postdoctoral Fellows

We are seeking two motivated Postdoctoral Fellows to join our research team focused on investigating the multi-modal factors contributing to Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and psychiatric conditions, including alcohol use disorder, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. This position will involve working on projects using electronic health records and multi-omic data (e.g. genetic, transcriptomics, and epigenomics) in population-based and AD-research cohorts to identify potential disease mechanisms, biomarkers, and therapeutic targets.

The ideal candidate will have intermediate/advanced skills in programming languages e.g. R or python and linux. Strong background in statistical genetics, genetic epidemiology, or computational biology, with a focus on neurodegenerative and/or psychiatric disorders (preferred not required). This is a full-time position with opportunities to work with interdisciplinary teams within the division and across several institutions.

The expected start date is flexible between Summer and Fall 2025. Applications will be interviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

Interested candidates should submit the following documents to Dr. Gita Pathak using the  contact form below with a cover letter outlining their research interests and relevant experience, a current CV, and contact information for three references.
